On Wednesday afternoon I started not feeling very awesome. After assessing my symptoms and doing a little research, I was pretty confident there was nothing serious going on - just run-of-the-mill "I'm in my 3rd trimester and an alien has taken over my body and I might also be suffering from a lot of anxiety" kind of stuff. I called the nurse at my doctor's office to check in and she agreed that I didn't need to be alarmed, especially since I already had an appointment scheduled for Thursday morning, so I hung up and tried not to worry about it.
Want to know how effective that was? Let's just say as soon as Wade got home from work, he was tasked with pulling all the baby stuff out of the attic and reassembling it while I did laundry in between taking breaks to lay down and rest.
Because, you know, just in case. Pregnancy is such a rational time in a woman's life, isn't it?
I didn't feel much better for most of the day yesterday, but luckily for Wade I was too worn out to come up with anymore ridiculous jobs for him to accomplish. At least now our pre-baby "to do" list is a little smaller though, right?! Hopefully Avery will take it easy on me this weekend, and hopefully all of you will have yourselves a great weekend, too!
