Over the weekend, I officially completed 2 more things on my list:
1. Go 1 week without using any curse words (thankfully this was easy except for that time I was stuck in rush hour traffic on Friday afternoon with a hungry, grumpy toddler!), and...
2. Try the "PCOS fertility diet" for (at least) 1 week
So I will admit that I haven't followed the diet to a T (partially because it seems there are approximately 794 guidelines to the diet and I'm not totally sure which ones I should follow), but I have truly given it my best shot, and I have eaten INFINITELY healthier than I normally eat. For example, take a gander at what I ate drank for lunch on Saturday and Sunday:
Amanda suggested it looked like something I "fished out of Davis's diaper" (you are welcome for the visual!), but it was actually really tasty. I just started out with one of my smoothie packs, then threw in 1 tablespoon of flax seeds, a handful of fresh spinach, a pinch of cinnamon, and then gulped it down. Success!
So I am going to keep at the "diet" for a little while longer. Even if it doesn't magically make me pregnant, it's certainly not doing any harm. And I have found that eating well in the interest of taking better care of myself is a lot more enjoyable than eating well when I'm trying to lose weight (which I'm not trying to do at the moment), so why not stick with it?

You go, girl (as long as you don't make me drink that crap when I come to town)!
That's an excellent reason for eating well. I need to remember it and engrave it on every wall in our house :)
Haha I drink a lot of green smoothies that look like that. For as unappetizing as they appear, they taste delicious! Congrats on making it a whole week without cursing!
Great job on both fronts! I'm impressed... sadly, I'm not so sure I'd be able to get through a week with no cursing!
Way to go. I fail at both all the time. I am currently on a 10 day cleanse- day 6 and going strong!
Nice job on the no cussing! I'm actually quite impressed. I'm not a bad cusser, but often will say little ones under my breath in traffic or at the dogs when they chew a sippy cup!
I agree about the eating well statement! I have missed your blog!
