'Twas the night before Christmas

Last night we were in between celebrations with our two families, so we were excited to spend some time with just our little family. We started out the evening with a quick dinner at Z'Tejas, where we were happy to get a table right next to the Christmas tree.
Afterwards we drove around to check out Christmas lights for maybe the 15th time this holiday season, and then we hurried home to sprinkle out some food for Santa's reindeer! Davis had fun scattering it in our front yard before heading inside for a bath.
After the bath, we sat down to read the nativity story to Davis. Apparently 2012 isn't the year for Davis to really grasp the real reason for the season, because he quickly lost patience with that story and then insisted we read him Goodnight Moon instead. We'll try again next year.

And with that, my list is done! Thanks again for helping me/us make the most of the Christmas season, Heather!

1. Drink hot cocoa with marshmallows
2. Bake Christmas cookies
3. Go look at Christmas lights
4. Make "reindeer food"
5. Do a Christmas photo shoot with Davis
6. Watch a Christmas movie
7. Read the Nativity Story
8. Make paper snowflakes
9. Listen to Christmas music
10. Go caroling while face timing with the Joiners
11. Make snowmen with cotton balls... or marshmallows
12. Go see Santa

Merry Christmas, friends!
