One of my favorite gifts that Davis got for Christmas is this sweet crocheted monster hat (thanks Amy & Sam!):
Great picture, no? Maybe I would have gotten a better one if he wasn't so busy BEING A TODDLER.
Anyway, I'm loving the hat and especially loving how cute he looks in it, but it is also serving as a reminder of what a little monster my child is likely going to be starting today when the last of his extended family members leave town and he is stuck with just Mom and Dad again. Less attention, fewer people around to sneak him tasty treats when he doesn't feel like eating what's on his plate, minimal opportunities to give people high-fives and fist bumps... it's a hard knock life for that kid, for sure. Wish us luck...

I looove that hat!! I pretty much need one for myself. And I think the picture matches it perfectly. Definitely a photo to tuck away and whip out one day for Davis's girlfriend or football buddies!
